October 14, 20223 yr Hi Dave, ATC asks me to switch to radar director immediately after take-off and before I am able to respond I am asked to switch to center control. Doesn't happen all the time but recently very often. Is there a way to make it work like before? I am now on V 2.6.3.1. Thanks, Tom
October 14, 20223 yr Commercial Member You may be climbing too fast. If you pass 3000 ft you'll get changed to Departure/RadarDir and then as you pass 6000 ft you get changed to Center. Dave
October 17, 20223 yr Author Hmm, no it sometimes happens below 1000 ft, climb speed should not be the reason.
October 17, 20223 yr Author Even caught it on video (no idea why I had that "too low terrain" call, but that shouldn't matter): https://www.dropbox.com/s/ky6yr0aclk4k6ya/unknown_2022.10.17-23.47.mp4?dl=0
October 17, 20223 yr Commercial Member What is your Tower Radius set to? If you go beyond that, regardless of altitude, you will get switched to Departure. Also check Departure Radius. My settings are: Tower: 5 NM Dep Radius: 15 NM APPR Radius: 35 NM Dave
October 18, 20223 yr Author Thanks, that should solve this problem. All these values were set to 0 (no idea why, because I never changed anything...)
October 18, 20223 yr Author What would be the easiest way to restore default settings? I also had all volumes in "voices" set to 0 recently.
October 18, 20223 yr Commercial Member Deleting the AppConfig.xml file will cause the file to be rebuilt, using default values, the next time you start the program. It is located at: c:\users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Settings\AppConfig.xml where <UserName> is your PC user name. Dave
