BUG - Speech Assistant prompt window empty?

Recommended Posts

During a flight, where ATC behaved itself, the Speech Assistant prompt window was empty.
I can't remember if it was for the whole flight or not but I was unable to select any of the prompts.

@Dave-Pilot2ATC Any idea why?

The file where the phrases are stored may have become corrupt.  If it happens again, you can install the latest update and that should replace the file that contains the phrases.

By latest update do you mean run the uninstaller and reinstall B8?

Will that delete my settings, would like to keep them as they have worked well so far.

User Error - message deleted. Didn't realise the Beta Update and the main installer were both required.

I now also cannot import from SimBrief any more and this is after an uninstall and reinstall.

@Dave-Pilot2ATC How to uninstall and reinstall to remove whatever has become corrupt?

P2ATC has been working flawlessly for the last 20 flights! Not sure why it's all gone wrong now..
Thanks for your help,
Toby

If something is corrupt, you will want to reinstall the base program, including the Navigraph or NavDataPro data.  Then apply any program or data updates to that.

I have tried that and it still won't let me import from SimBrief using the new button in the Beta.

I have deleted the preference folder in AppData as well.

I just posted a new Public Beta 2.6.3.2 8C.  If that still won't import, email me your SimBrief pilot ID and I can try to figure out what's wrong.
