2.81 beta problem exporting flightplan

Featured Replies

In prior versions I would create a plan including the approach with relevant IAF and fixes. I would print same and then export as P3D/FSX plan.   When loading in FSX or P3D all would be fine.

With this version ( I didn't check earlier versions) after I export the plan, when I load it I get Starting airport - IAF - Destination but none of the approach waypoints are there.

Has something changed that I missed?

EDIT - let me explain a little better - created fp from KHLC to KFWB using RNAV 03 approach with HARKS transition.  Export to P3D/FSX format. Close/reopen LNM - new flightplan - Open fp - select the file I just saved - plan loads but only contains KHLC -> HARKS -> KFWB - other than HARKS the remaining approach waypoints are gone. btw, if I export in MSFS2020 formatr - all works as expected

Thanx!

Hi Vic,

the LNM 2.8.1.beta update unchecked the export options in the flight plan menu. This is most likely the issue.

The P3D/FSX PLN format cannot transfer procedures. Therefore you have to add them manually in the GPS or FMS. MSFS can transfer procedures (with limitations) although most add-ons still require to add them manually. Same for X-Plane.
