C195 Autopilot Enable?

I saw a YT video in which the host used the PMS GTN 750 autopilot features with the C195.  How could he get past the MSFS encryption of a "Local Legend" aircraft to enable the autopilot?  I believe the aircraft.cfg and system.cfg are encrypted, no?
