Morning all-

Finally got all the files downloaded, including the install instructions. After opening the instructions, they are for a FSW jet. No idea why.

Simarket says contact the dev. Dev on the road and won't be home for 24hrs.

So, can anyone send me them so I call install this?

You should have downloaded all the .bin files and a zipped folder called 'FSGUNG2020.zip'.
The zipped folder contains all the necessary files, including instructions.

Installation
=============

1) Before installation you SHOULD deactivate any previous version of FS Global first.
   
   You can EITHER deactivate the appropriate scenery layers in your SIMs scenery library OR completely deinstall it.
    
   We recommend to first just deactivate scenery layers. In case something goes wrong, you can quite easily switch back to where you were. If all works well, you can later deinstall older versions of FS Global.
 
   For deactivation access the SIMs scenery library, scroll down and deactivate all layers which names start with FS Global. These layers should be located just above the layer "1107 Base".
   
   Please refer to your FS Manual or use Google on how to access scenery library, if you are not familiar with this procedure.
      
   Do NOT disable or remove ANY OTHER scenery layer or files.
      
   For deinstallation start your SIM and access scenery library. Delete all scenery layers of previous FS Global Mesh versions. The layers should be found some way down the line just above Base Scenery 1107 layer.
   If you have done that, end your SIM and delete the folder of the previous FS Global Mesh scenery on your harddrive. Then install FS Global Ultimate 2020 and all should be well.

   Do NOT disable or remove ANY OTHER scenery layer or files.
   
2) Close FS, if still running.

3) Follow the instructions outlined in file Installation Instructions.txt

   Use drop down menus to select for your system and commence installation.
   Take note, you can do a complete install for the whole world (all) or by continent. We highly recommend a full install, since otherwise you will have nasty looking edges when flying out of the installed area. Anyway, you wanted that. We listened.

   Please also note, if your sim changed or you reinstalled it, you do not have to go through the file copying process of FS Global Ultimate again.
   If FS Global Ultimate files still are physically on your hard drive, you may select “Install scenery layers only”, which will do all the magic in the background of setting up your system. You must of course point to the correct hard drive letter when prompted.

   You can still choose hard drive only and no directory. Yes, we thought about that and we decided to keep it the way it was the past 20 years.
   Otherwise we would not be able to offer reliable installation of “scenery layers only”. There is no need for any add-on to be installed into the core simulation directory. In fact, we think it contra productive for large add-ons to do so.

   Follow the instructions on your screen!

4) If you experience any problems, please FIRST read the manual THEN check our FS Global Ultimate 2020 product website at the SUPPORT section.
   You can reach the FS Global Ultimate website via our company website www.pilots.shop. If your problem is not addressed, please send us an email to the address below.
   
5) If you need to deinstall FS Global Ultimate from your system, proceed as can be read at 1).
   
6) AFM - Aerodrome Flattening Meshes V2 is available for direct download and installation through your account at www.pilots.shop.

Please download all files and place them in a single new directory (folder). Do NOT name this directory (folder) "FSGUNG2020".

MAKE SURE the 8 BIN files (listed below!) are downloaded as BIN files. Some download managers save them as ZIP files! You must in that case rename them back to *.BIN or the installation will fail!

However, you must probably first make file extentions visible in explorer in order to change the file extentions.

Then unzip "FSGUNG2020.zip" into that directory (folder). Make sure you really unzip into the directory (folder) where the BIN files reside. Pilots.setup.exe and the BIN files must reside in the same directory (folder) or the installation will fail!

Then read manual (in directory DOC) and readme files BEFORE commencing installation!

Then run "Pilots.Setup.exe" as administrator.

Keep files safe for future installations!

Installation errors:
Please find the hash values of the large files below.

If you experience file reading errors errors, google, download and install "hashtab" to compare values with those of the files you downloaded!

If you find differences, please redownload this file and check again!

Sure.I’ve already had this conversation with Stephan but will repeat for the benefit of others. When downloading Installation_instructions.txt from Simarket which holds all the other files, the FlySimware Cessna 414 install instructions appear. You might want to fix this.
