November 18, 20223 yr Hi all, I have Navigraph set to update everything... However, for KALB (Albany) - there is a departure I'm trying to use which is ALB7. It loaded without issues in FS 2020. In LNM (standard and beta) it loads ALB6. I may be doing something wrong. Not sure how to troubleshoot this... any help appreciated! H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g
November 18, 20223 yr I see ALB7 from MSFS stock data ignoring Navigraph. Right scenery library mode set? This https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/SCENERY.html#microsoft-flight-simulator-2020-airports-and-navdata is still true although 2.8 betas helps you to find the right setting. You have LNM updated to the latest cycle? What cycle does it show in the menu? Navigraph in MSFS installed? Scenery library loaded after MSFS update? Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

Alex Hi Alex- responses below (yours are highlighted) I see ALB7 from MSFS stock data ignoring Navigraph. What do you mean? The Albany Seven Departure appears to be current. I have it set & seems to be updated: Right scenery library mode set? This https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/SCENERY.html#microsoft-flight-simulator-2020-airports-and-navdata is still true although 2.8 betas helps you to find the right setting. The guide says:Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: The base path of the MSFS installation and its directories Community and Official is detected automatically. You can change the path manually if needed. So I assume it's done automatically? cheers Edited November 19, 20223 yr by turner112 H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g
November 19, 20223 yr Thank you for the screenshots. This helps a lot. You AIRAC cycle was not installed properly in LNM by the FMS Data Manager as you can clearly see in the "1801" indication in the LNM menu. This unfortunately a common issue that the FMS Data Manager installs the files into the wrong location. You should report such issues to Navigraph. See here for probable fix: https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap_navigraph.html 24 minutes ago, turner112 said: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020: The base path of the MSFS installation and its directories Community and Official is detected automatically. You can change the path manually if needed. So I assume it's done automatically? No. LNM detects the simulator location automatically but it does not reload the scenery library automatically. Furthermore you have to use the latest beta when using MSFS: https://albar965.github.io/release/2022/11/18/littlenavmap-beta-282-released.html 2.6.19 does not work since SU11. November 19, 20223 yr Author Thanks - All updated, got beta, followed instructions for the "ABarthel" folder designation, reloaded the scenery library. Still showing ALB6, though. Edited November 19, 20223 yr by turner112 H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g

All this does not help if the scenery library menu still shows 1801 because the FMS Data Manager copied the update to the wrong place. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

Alex Yes, it's still showing 1801. As noted, I tried pointing it to the correct location manually - is there another workaround? H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g
November 19, 20223 yr Just now, turner112 said: Yes, it's still showing 1801. As noted, I tried pointing it to the correct location manually - is there another workaround? Safest way is to download the manual update from your Navigraph account. Close LNM before copying the files. Go to https://navigraph.com/downloads and search for "Little Navmap". Download the Zip archive for Windows. Extract the archive and copy the included "little_navmap_navigraph.sqlite" over "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel\little_navmap_db\little_navmap_navigraph.sqlite". Overwrite the file. This should fix it. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap

November 19, 20223 yr Author Got it! Working now. Please note that the download unzips to an executable, which loads the file directly into the ABarthel directory. Maybe this procedure (no pun intended... or WAS it?) can be added to your instructions here. Thanks again. Looking forward to the certified iPad version. 😉 Edited November 19, 20223 yr by turner112 H e l p k e e p A V S I M f l y i n g

Maybe better to download the Linux zip which contains the database instead and gives you full control. 3 minutes ago, turner112 said: Maybe this procedure (no pun intended... or WAS it?) can be added to your instructions here. Already adding.😉 4 minutes ago, turner112 said: Thanks again. Looking forward to the certified iPad version. 😉 LOL. But you can use the macOS version of LNM if you have an iPad pro as far as I understand. Alex Alex' Projects: Little Navmap
