Installation Problem

Recommended Posts

Run out of ideasI

Just installed PSXT in MSFS and when I run it it keeps saying no liveries found after pressing the liveries button. Trying to use the FSTL models and liveries. Checked that the fstl-traffic-base file is in the Community Folder, checked the default path that PSXT uses to find the files and that is all ok, all other settings within PSXT are default but still nothing. Using v 32.9.2 and SU11 in MSFS. Checked faq’s but can’t see any answers.

Any help gratefully received.

Hi Nico

Yes just noticed that myself.However, the only thing I've done since installing MSFS is to download Add On Linker apart from scenery and aircraft so don't know how that is missing. Not sure what to do now as there is nothing in the Roaming file apart from two Just Flight aircraft. My Community Folder is in the following path: PATH=C:\Users\icroo\AppData\Local\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages

Just a check: Did you activate the FSLTL package in the Add On Linker or are you not using the Linker for that?

I did  have it in Add On Linker but one of the first things I tried was uninstalling FSLTL from there and re-installing back into my Community Folder.

One way to get around that problem is to switch off Automatic Liveries scan in the PSXT GUI, and create this parameter in C:\Users\icroo\Appdata\Roaming\PSXT_MSFS\parameters.xml

    <parameter name="lfolder0" value="C:\Users\icroo\AppData\Local\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\fsltl-traffic-base" />

Then Push the Liveries button.....

It looks you have not set the parameter correctly, it sees no valid lfolderx parameters ...

Post your Log.txt again, please.

it is the l from LIMA . You can read all about it in the Manual section 5.1.1

I do not see the lfolder0 parameter yet in your Log, so add it to parameters.xml first.

Looking at the path to my Community folder it is as follows:C:\Users\icroo\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages. Is the problem this path is not being used and therefore the fsltl-traffic-base file is not being found? The log seems to point to that situation-but I'm no expert!

Hi Nico

Think I've sorted it-it was the path that was wrong. Many thanks for all of your help.
