November 25, 20223 yr I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered issues with Taburet's Night3D add-ons now in SU11 (possibly existed in SU10 as well)? I've been troubleshooting some heavy stutters and while I believe there are broader issues at play with SU11, I'm also wondering if the sim's object limit that was introduced in SU10 is rearing its head as well. My issue is that I get heavy stutters and 15-20+ FPS loss that disappear as soon as I delete the Night3D add-ons from my Community folder. I first noticed the problem when taking off from KLAX and landing at KFUL (testing sim stability and smoothness). As I'd approach the airport, I'd go through a couple of spots of brightness in the cockpit (and thought I'd had another aircraft nearby). After some lengthy consternation and setting tweaks, I realized they were the light spots that Taburet adds to the sim. Every time I came near one the FPS dropped significantly and I got massive stuttering (it was like the light orb was within or near the cockpit). When I got rid of the add-ons, the sim behaved a lot better, but the night scenery was a lot more dull.

November 26, 20223 yr Author Thanks - I'd seen that thread and responded that I had the same stutter issues. The issue I'm referencing affects FPS and creates stutters at all times during the flight, not just during approach.
