PMDG BBJ2 Aux Fuel Tanks Config won't save

Featured Replies

I wanted to fly long haul with the PMDG 737, thus I've downloaded a cool biz jet livery from flightsim.to and set up the aircraft equipment in the FMC as I did with every airliner livery before.

I've set the aux tanks to a maximum number (5 FWD, 2 AFT) for a maximum range of the aircraft.
What I've noticed, this setting doesn't get saved when loading the aircraft the next time.

The number of aux tanks get resetted to 1 FWD and 0 AFT in the FMC, but the config file (N502BJ.ini) in C:\Users\myusername\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\packages\pmdg-aircraft-738\work\Aircraft shows

...

TIOS Antenna Installed=1
6500 Cabin Altitude Installed=1
Pressurization Panel New Style Installed=0
Aft Aux Tanks=5
Fwd Aux Tanks=2

Window Shades Installed=0
GPWS_2500_RA=0
GPWS_1000=1

...

5 tanks in the FWD section and 2 in the AFT section.

What am I doing wrong here? Why is this setting not being saved in the FMC/Sim?

Might be a bug, ask on Pmdg forum / support?

I wanted to ask here first, just to be sure I'm not doing something wrong here 😉

You know, most PC issues are in front of the monitor.

Yes, but with Pmdg if you change settings in Fmc in should work
