December 1, 20223 yr Great post over on the .org forum. The latest NVidia drivers have an option so NVidia cards will enable HDR. Turn HDR on in Windows display settings, set the new options in the NVCP and XP will boot in HDR - looks stunning! December 1, 20223 yr Yep I tested this and at first it does look amazing because of auto HDR but at close inspection I found out that its merely a brightness increase. I am almost certain that HDR toggle here does not increase the dynamic range as it should. I don't see any visible difference in the depth of colours either. I do get the popup of auto HDR in windows when the game launches so I know the auto HDR feature is working. Again, I maybe wrong here and I will certainly run some more tests tomorrow and report back. What are your findings on this ? Baber My Youtube Channel http://www.youtube.com/user/HDOnlive
December 1, 20223 yr Author I don’t get the Auto HDR pop up when XP12 starts, but the brightness is set to 100%. I have used the windows HDR calibration tool to calibrate my HDR 600 monitor. I only flew for a few minutes for a quick test, but it sure looks good.
