CTD on descent

Featured Replies

I'm having difficulty in landing an aircraft. No matter where I fly, or in what aircraft B58 or Dahler TBM usually), during a descent, I get a CTD. I'm up to date on all updates and drivers and I prefer to fly within AH2 and use LittleNavMap too (both on networked PCs). It doesn't seem to matter how long the flight is, or what the weather conditions are. I'm running out of ideas on how to accurately identify the culprit. Is it something wrong in the autopilot, lack of memory (I've 4GB on the GPU and 32 Gb on the CPU) or what ?. The only consistent point where it CTDs is that I'm descending to an airport.

Does this also happens in a different part of the world? This might tell you whether a scenery addon could be the cause or not.

If it only happens in the same region, it could be an airport addon or its navdata. If it happens in Australia as wel as the United States it might be another addon e.g. global scenery or a GPS addon.
The ultimate step is to rename your Community folder in order to determine whether it is an addon that is installed there. If so, move half of them back and check again etc.

Troubleshooting marketplace purchases (which are installed in the Official folder) can be more daunting since some of these folders cannot be moved as easily, and some folders shouldn't be moved at all.
