Pilot2ATC sets wrong cruising altitude

Featured Replies

When I import a flight plan and want to change the cruise altitude, it sets a lower value than expected. For example FL180 -> FL55. When I want to fly the route, I only get a clearance for a much lower altitude than expected. For example the first clearance after takeoff is only 1000 feet. Also, when I fly to FL180, I always get a response that I should reduce my speed to 250 knots, even though I am over 10000 feet. It seems like Pilot2ATC is getting a wrong altitude value from Microsoft Flight Simulator.

I have already reinstalled Pilot2ATC. The only additional thing I do is to change the AIRAC cycle to 2212 with Navigraph FMS Data Manager.

Here is a video of my problem:

I was able to enter altitudes at or above FL150.  WIth the mountains, I suspect that is a minimum for the route.

If you want to enter even altitudes, like FL180, you would have to check the option to "ATC Ignore Bearing Based Altitudes" because the route is Easterly.  This option was added to accommodate regions where there are different altitude rules.

On IFR flights, altitudes must be even flight levels.  FL75 or altitude 7,500, for instance, would only be valid for VFR flights.

It doesn't matter what cruising altitude I set. And which route I fly. Pilot2ATC simply shows me a different value that I did not enter.

Examples of what happens when I enter an altitude:
18000 -> FL 55

25000 -> FL 76

30000 -> FL 91

I also tried 'ATC Ignores Bearing Based Altitudes' but the result is the same.

Well, I installed the full version and now everything works as expected. Thanks for your help Dave.
