Hey Gerald.

Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but prior to all the newer updates, the Copilot knew all of the parking locations. Now when asking our location, he only states the airport and a runway. I know the focus and emphasis is on MSFS 2020, and FSX uses an old NAV database, however some of the changes seem to cause unintended issues within FSX.

Could you provide some context, like what request you made and discovered he no longer knew what gate you were in.

Hey Gerald,

My home airport is KVCB which has numerous parking locations. I park on spot 4. When I ask what our location is he says we are on runway 02. I tried different parking locations and it seems hit and miss. Sometimes he would say we are on RWY 02, other times he would get the parking spot correct and then other times, I would be told no such runway exists. I used the move aircraft to different locations feature, for example KSMF, and requested to be relocated to Gate 202 and I was repositioned to the end of RWY 16L, when I requested gate 11 or parking 19 it said no such runway exists. I requested to be positioned at KLAX Gate 22 and I was repositioned to the end of runway 6L. It appears that it only positions the aircraft to the end of runways regardless of what is requested. I noticed this problem, because in one of my flows I have the command "what is our location" in it and the copilot always stated the correct airport and parking location correctly or within one spot of where I was actually parked.

This patch should settle it not only for FSX, but also improved relocation via voice in MSFS from any location to another, including to specified gate.

Relocate the plane to Tahiti  (very good idea)
