X-Touch Mini unable to communicate with MSFS

Featured Replies

I have installed a X-Touch Mini in AAO (v2.80 b29) and enabled MIDI devices in the Hardware menu.  The device appears on ID:1 on MIDI IN and ID:3 on MIDI OUT.

I have followed the instructions to set up the x-touch mini from this youtube lesson.  The mini panel appears both as a desktop FIP and web FIP in MSFS.  However, there is no response to the physical x-touch mini.  I would appreciate any trouble shooting advice.

Thank you,

Raj

If you are talking about the X-Touch Gauge, please contact the author. The Gauge is a third party asset and is not provided by Lorby-SI. I don't know if the author reads this forum here, so contacting him directly is probably the better way to go.

Most likely you didn't install some required autoscript. Output to MIDI devices is handled with custom scripts, it doesn't happen "naturally". And those scripts usually have to be adapted to your current device, as the MIDI OUT ID value can/will be different on different computers.

Hi @soloraj,

you say "there is no response TO the physical x-touch mini". Does this mean when you press buttons and turn rotaries this is detected by AAO and the gauge is working? And it's only the LEDs not working on the physical x-Touch mini? Or nothing working at all?

Funatic

PS: I am reading here - but not regularly...
