I only want to use LNM for maps and scenery as I fly in X plane 11. If I have it open and click it when I am flying will it show me on a LNM  map instead of the X 11 map...?

LNM does not integrate into the XP map. It runs in a separate window.
Apart from this you can use it as a moving map on a second monitor, remote computer or view the map on any device having a browser.

is there a pay map app that people use in X 11 and integrates and works well?
