Floating taxi lights...

Featured Replies

So the other day I landed at an airport I can't remember which (freeware one) and the taxi lights were floating just above the ground.  I put it down to the freeware mod, but tonight I've just landed at Payware EGPF (Pyreegue Dev) at dusk and again taxi lights floating off the ground.  I have flown out of this field a lot and don't recall seeing this before?  I'm wondering if I have installed something (freeware or payware) which is causing this to happen?  Anyone else?

EDIT 1:  Just tested at Maccosim EGCC and taxi lights are normal (ie at ground level)

EDIT 2: Just loaded back in at EGPF and everything back to normal, hahaha.  Gotta love Flight sim, something stops working every flight for no reason!

So...I posted this back on 1st Jan but I'm seeing this issue again intermittently and wondered if others are too?

Last night I flew Shannon - Birmingham.  Its the Maccosim version and it was dark when I landed, I saw the approach lights but NO lights on the runway whatsoever, no taxi lights either.  However the terminal was lit up etc.  It's weird, as my first post says sometimes when I land the taxi lights are floating above the ground.  If I reload the airport and spawn in direct I have no issues with lights.  I don't have anything in my community folder "light related" so this is a really weird issue.  It's happened randomly across different airports so I don't think its scenery related directly.

Anyone else?

Something interesting I noticed when I switched to VR. They aren't floating. They're mounted to poles, which I can only see in VR. If I flip back to a regular screen, I'm back to the floating taxi light orbs.

Weird, huh?
