January 5, 20233 yr I recently updated the default DB with the new AIRAC cycle. I am planning an IFR flight from KLAS to KLAX. I enter the origin and destination via the add waypoint function then click on auto plan. The program then presents a flight plan using the default (original) AIRAC DB from 2018 which of course is no longer accurate. Is this a known bug? Any future plans to recode this function? I intend to use the SIM brief flight plan import function in the meantime but obviously prefer the auto generate flight plan working properly. Thanks in advance.
January 5, 20233 yr Commercial Member The AIRAC cycle the program is using is displayed on the left of the Title bar of the main window. When you update, be sure you are pointing the FMS DataMgr to the Pilot2ATC Directory. If you point it to the Data folder, it will install it in a folder like Pilot2ATC.../Data/Data, which won't update the version used by the program. Dave
January 6, 20233 yr Author Thanks Dave for the quick response. As this is my first post to this forum I must say I am impressed. I thought I told Navigraph to place it in the Pilot to ATC directory but when I checked it was in the data directory. Thanks again, GJR
January 6, 20233 yr Commercial Member You're welcome. After you do the update, you can be sure, by checking the Data folder for the P2ADynamicData.mdf file and also check the cycle_info.txt file to be sure it is the latest version. Dave
