January 16, 20233 yr I have noticed this lately and it asked if you click ok if you want to use this database or discard? https://imgur.com/fqevweA Thanks Alex BobM. Edited January 16, 20233 yr by unc1rlm Bob M
January 16, 20233 yr Maybe it's because you have two versions of an airport, eg a payware one and the MSFS one. in which case, you should disable the MSFS one. Rob Jones.
January 16, 20233 yr There are almost always two versions of an airport. The stock one an an add-on airport. The add-on normally overrides the stock airport with a new layout, runways or taxiways. If the add-on is encrypted it cannot be read and only the stock airport is shown. This hint is new in LNM 2.8 and just tells you that some airports will look different in LNM compared to MSFS. Of course you can still use this database. From the FAQ (https://albar965.github.io/littlenavmap-faq.html#no-airport-msfs ) Quote A MSFS add-on does not show up after reloading the scenery library in Little Navmap ▲ 🔗 Encrypted add-on airports in MSFS cannot be read by Little Navmap. The add-on is locked down with a DRM (Digital Restriction Management) scheme if you find a file BGL.fsarchive in the add-on folders. Little Navmap will not show a new airport or only the stock airport if an add-on replaces a stock one. Buy add-ons directly from developers instead of the Microsoft market which enforces encryption. Alternatively you can also use and support freeware scenery. See also Little Navmap User Manual - Known Issues.
