Empty addon_airports directory - MSFS

Recommended Posts

Just did a scan with 34.0.3 and noticed addon_airports is empty - is that normal?

No that's not normal, I have 94 addon airports (MSFS's most expensive version). The third party airports should be found in the thirdparty_airports folder.

Did you run Auto or? If not auto you need a path to Official, otherwise it will not find addon airports.

Website is dead, PSXT does not see either repaints or airports. I'm on the US East Cost. 34.02. I assume that these two are interrelated.

My one and only airport parameter:

<parameter name="afolder0" value="E:\MSFS\Packages\Community" />

I'm sure you see the problem here...should be "E:\MSFS\Packages"

Once changed it works perfectly - I have no idea how long I've had it this way, but clearly I've not been getting any addon_airports the entire time it was set to "Community." The irritating thing is that I know better, but evidently I suffered from a mental lapse when I set it to Community.

I don't know about the website, but my problem was exclusively related to incorrect afolder param.

Yes, the US. All other sites work perfectly. I will try again in a next couple of hours.

PS. And I don't have AV.

I have tried to open the website via my cellphone and it worked. Seems like my network does not like your website 🙂 Will reset and see 🙂

The Leaner and the main program do work though.

They don't need an internet connection, but RealTraffic does...
