Why do AI aircraft have their landing lights on during daylight hours and is there any way to turn them "off".Thanks.

Turn them off - no.And they should be on during daylight - in the real world and in FS.

I think in real life airliners are required to have landing lights on day or night below 10,000 feet. I notice when coming in to LAX they even have them on at 14,000 feet. That could be because LAX basin is heavy with traffic.Lee

The landing lights are to be turned on at anytime for when entering the runway until 10,000 MSL and from 10,000 MSL until leaving the runway. The requirement for GA aircraft are region-dependent, but the use of landing lights is strongly encouraged (day and night). For jetliners landing lights are mandatory.Hope this helps,Pat
