Lorby's WAMA Saved Aircraft

Featured Replies

why do some saved aircraft suddenly disappear from a group of saved aircraft at any airport?

In order for WAMA to finally display all the saved aircraft at any given airport, it requires several reboots of the WAMA screen.

Does anyone know why this happens and how to fix it?

Thanks

On Lorby's WAMA saved aircraft, does anyone know why some aircraft in a group of 8-9 saved aircraft at any given airport suddenly disappear. It then requires additional reboots of the WAMA screen until the disappearing aircraft finally appear and stay constant in their saved positions? I have verified P3DV4 simconnect files are connected.

Thanks for any help.

No idea, sorry. Nobody has reported something like this in 6 years of WAMA.

I can only speculate. My guess is that it could depend on what kind of aircraft they are.

  1. Sometimes the simulator decides not to display models. That is just how it is. You just get an exception 22 back, saying "sorry, something went wrong". I have this problem in all Lorby Addons that create AI models, and I never found out the rules.
  2. Active/flyable aircraft may have a large memory footprint due to their detailed liveries. That might cause trouble in the sim if there are too many of them.
  3. Flyable aircraft may have internal logic that interferes with the animation logic of other planes (for example copy protection a la Carenado)
