February 4, 20233 yr Hello Dave, Trying to reinstall everything from a HD crash. Attached is a picture showing KCLE taxiways. Can any of this be even close to correct? I ran makerunways and imported the taxiways and gates into P2ATC. Thanks.
February 4, 20233 yr Commercial Member Looks like the runways are missing. They would show up as red lines. Make sure that the r5.csv and runways.xml file from MakeRwys are in the folder you point to in the Import area of TaxiMnt when you do the Import. I would try importing just KCLE to see if it works first. Then do all airports if it does work. Dave
February 4, 20233 yr Author Hello Dave, Strange thing - if I import a single airport it will show the red lines for the runways but if I use the import taxiways from all airports it will not show the red lines for the runways. I've tried it twice with the same results. One of the issues I was referring to in the first post however is taxiways going over dirt at KCLE as 24C is no longer there. I would imagine this is a problem with the scenery database with MSFS2020. Thanks.
February 4, 20233 yr Commercial Member Make sure you are using the latest Beta as it fixes some issues with TaxiMnt. Dave
February 5, 20233 yr Author Hello David, Using the Beta seems to have taken care of the problem with the red lines for the runways. I still have a question about KCLE - none of the taxiways have the right lettering (I know this is not a problem with P2ATC). I spot checked a few airports like KORD, KLAX, KSFO and for a very brief spot check their taxiways seem to be correct in cross checking their lettering with Navigraph charts. Any reason for this? Does this problem affect the operation of P2ATC dispatching? Thanks for you help.
February 5, 20233 yr Commercial Member You probably want the taxiway names to match the SIM so the signs in the SIM match the instructions. If you prefer that they match the charts, then you can change the names in TaxiMnt, or better yet, find the tool for editing scenery in your SIM and make the changes there and re-import to get everything to match. Dave
