No direct export .fms from P2A into XP12 Output-folder

Featured Replies

P2A works well with XP12 in Windows 11.
One problem sofar:
Exporting a flightplan in .fms format to the correct XP-folder is impossible.
Can only make a new map in the desktop-folder and export the plan into that folder.
From there the plan can be hand-copied into the XP Output folder.
No problem when using it in XP.

Any solution?
An access-problem in Windows?

Sounds like a Windows Access issue.  If you set the export folder on the Export window for X-Plane to the one you want, it will export there if you have permission to do so.

You could try running the program as administrator.

Dave

Thanks Dave.

The program has been  running as administrator.

The problem is: The export folder on the Export window for X-plane does only allow for a (new) subfolder from the desktopfolder.

Additional info: no problem to import the flightplan into Pilot2 ATC from the X-plane Output/FMS plans folder.

Ah... OK.  That's a Windows 11 issue when backing up to OneDrive.

Thanks Dave for this info.

In the meantime MS reported to work on this bug with OneDrive and to expect a basic solution on short notice.

For your info Dave,

The recent update of Windows 11 solved this issue.

Kind regards,
Bertien
