February 27, 20233 yr Hey Gerald, With the latest version, when going into voxscript to edit some flows, I receive explanations of everything I select. Is this something new? And is there a way to turn this off in the ini file? Also when using the unspecified pause feature in a flow, checking the box that says “wait until I ask to resume” does not seem to work. What happens is when I say “resume or continue flow” to restart the flow, the FO does nothing. Eventually he will ask if I want to continue, but only when he’s ready, not when I request it. It’s as if he he is hard coded to a specific time limit before he will continue. Again minor annoyances. Running FSX/PF3. Thanks, Tony J

When you enter the 3 main panels for the first time during your session, a voice will explain what they do. But only once for each panel, Some people may not immediately understand that Voxscript is simply a flows editor. It's the kind of thing you need to have in a Demo. Not to be confused with the other "use screen narrator" option which you may have enabled by accident through the drop-down menu. With that option, when you move the mouse over any control, you'll get an aural explanation in English (and soon in German, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian as well) in order to help our non-Native English speakers feel at home The other "wait until I tell you to continue" option will be reviewed, just in case it was broken. February 28, 20233 yr Author Gerald, Thanks for the response. While I totally understand and appreciate the need for new people to get an idea what it is they are looking for when new to MCE, it would be nice to have the ability to turn that feature off for those of us who are familiar with the features that MCE has to offer. IMHO it is just very annoying to attempt to edit a flow (which is the reason I went there in the first place), only to have the program tell me that I am able to edit flows, everyday. (as I think to myself "ugh no kidding, really?🙄) . As for the pause issue, my flying partner has the same issue also. Just a couple of minor annoyances from a stellar product. Tony J

March 7, 20233 yr Author Gerald, Thanks for the fix. Pause issue works fine. However another problem has come up with 3.0.2.7. The FO no longer dials the standby comm and nav frequencies when requested. When requesting a standby nav or comm frequency, the FO states that it needs to be fine tuned or entered manually. Occurs on all standby radios and different stock aircraft. Running FSX, PF3. Thanks again for the top notch support. Tony J
