It Is That Time Of Year Again - Fall

Featured Replies

As we approach the Fall/Autumn season the need once again arises to to adjust the Microsoft landclass textures (BMPs). I have downloaded Adam Mills texture replacements here at AVSIM. However, I believe that they would look better in my region (Northeast USA) with some more green. My problem is identifying the specific landclass textures to modify. I would like to be able to somehow ID the texture directly below the aircraft. Otherwise, the only alternative is to use the Excel spreadsheet I received from (?) that lists all landclass names and their corresponding IDs. A somewhat hit & miss process.Regards,Dick BoleyA PC, an LCD, speakers, CH yoke

That spreadsheet reference you refer to would be the only way to ID the textures I can think of offhand.I am sure you are already using TMFViewer to ID the landclass codes...The textures are a different matterRhettAMD 3700+ (@2585 mhz), eVGA 7800GT 256 (Guru3D 93.71), ASUS A8N-E, PC Power 510 SLI, 2gb Corsair XMS 3-3-3-8 (1T), WD 150 gig 10000rpm Raptor, WD 250gig 7200rpm SATA2, Seagate 120gb 5400 rpm external HD, CoolerMaster Praetorian
