Displaced threshold on takeoff

Had this issue a few times now.  

If a runway has a displaced threshold, ground expects me to takeoff at the landing threshold instead of the takeoff displaced threshold. 

Only way ground will hand me over to tower is if I taxi all the way to the landing threshold. 

Is this a known issue?

This happens when the Runway definition in TaxiMnt has the runway not extending into the overrun.

Editing the runway so that it covers the overrun should fix the issue.  You might first try importing the airport taxiways from your SIM in case the definition is already good in the SIM data.  Also, be sure there is a valid taxiway with a Hold Short point that will take you to the overrun.
