I am having a problem with Flight plans either with or without using LNM. I put in my flight details/start finish etc and I get a flight plan shown on the world map that looks correct. However, when I get into the aircraft the flight plan goes silly and has huge legs that do not make any sense at all and involve long distance "rambling" and do not follow the route shown on the world map.Can you help?

Sorry for delay in replying. I solved this issue by modifying the flight plan, in the aircraft before take off , by deleting the "rogue" legs from the flight plan before commencing the flight. If you are using LNM then you just need to make sure the flight plan in the aircraft follows that shown in LNM.
