March 17, 20233 yr Hello everyone. This week Windows Update started offering me again to upgrade my main rig to Windows 11 (specs in signature). I'm using it for mainly P3Dv5, MSFS and sometimes P3Dv4, flying mostly the PMDG, FSL and Fenix birds. Are there any advantages of applying the upgrade? I've just recently reinstalled Win10 because of a drive crash. For reference, I have a laptop (specs also in signature) which works beautifully, but I guess this one was designed with Win11 in mind. I built my desktop for Win10 and P3Dv4 (with a 1650) and upgraded it (with a 3060Ti) for P3Dv5. March 21, 20233 yr I don't like guaranteeing computer stuff will work on any machine with any collection of apps of any kind. However, the W11 upgrade will store the OS info and allow you to go revert back to W10 if you don't want to keep W11. I think you have about 10 days to make up your mind before the reversion data is deleted. W11 and W10 are not hugely different internally so there have been not too many upgrade problems reported but....
