Axis Ohs is not running

Featured Replies

Hello all,
I need your support, because I'm very desperate.
I've had the demoversion running and it was all fine!

One time, my computer crashed during an update of MSFS...
I've had to reinstall my computer and also MSFS.

After the reinstall AAOs was not starting anymore.

So I bought the official version and installed.

But also the official version is not running.

When I start AAO, as an adminisstrator, I can see in Task-Manager, that AAO ist starting, than somesing happened with my monitors(I think, windows change the setup of the displays), MS-onedrive is started and than suddenly AAO is stropped and not visible in Task-Manager.

The community folder is exsisting.

Can anyone support me?

Thank you in advanced!

Try this:

DELETE the following folders (AAO can not be running at this point, make sure that it is indeed closed)

  • C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\LorbyAxisAndOhsMSFS
  • C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\LWR
  • C:\Users\...\Documents\LorbyAxisAndOhs Files

This will reset AAO to the "factory" state - but it also means that you will lose all individual settings that you made.

Hello,
thank you for the quick response.
I found only:

  • C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\LorbyAxisAndOhsMSFS

The others were not available.
Than I deinstall AAO and install again.
It is still the same. AAO is not running.
Only

  • C:\Users\...\AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\LorbyAxisAndOhsMSFS

is exsisting again...

Then I don't know, sorry. AAO is just a bog standard .Net application. And you said yourself that it was working before - ??

Save yourself the trouble of uninstalling and reinstalling. That does absolutely nothing for Lorby apps, it just replaces the executable files (and those never break). Only deleting the three aforementioned folders is effective.

  • Check your Antivirus logs (!)
  • Check the Windows Event logs on your computer, and if you find an error message that belongs to AAO, send it to the support email address (last page of the AAO manual). Make sure to include your proof of purchase.
  • Check the AAO logs (especially the startup log in \AppData\Local\LORBY_SI\LorbyAxisAndOhsMSFS). Again, if you find an error message, send it to the support email address. Make sure to include your proof of purchase.
  • Check proper installation and update level of .Net 4.8
  • Check proper installation and update level of vcredist 2019 (x86 and x64)
