What FS9 payware Scenery will work in FSX?

Featured Replies

Hello All, I was wondering if any of you have tried any of the good payware scenery in FSX, and does it work and if so any mods necessary? I have a ton of FS9 scenery that I hate seeing go to waste.Best,Clayhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...ers/Dopke01.jpgClayton T. Dopke (Clay)Sundance Quarter HorsesKewanne, MS

FS9 Airports dont work because of fsx's round model of the world.

Imagine Simulation KCVG (Cincinnati) is sold as a pair for both FS9 and FSX. I looks great except I can't run much traffic nor fly heavy metal because of poor FSX performance on my system. I would not have made a separate purchase for FSX, but you get both! :)Bob...

Hi,Pilot's FS Global 2005 (http://fsim.net) works in FSX even though they have an upgraded FS Global 2008 version. In fact, all terrain mesh scenery made for FS2004 whether it be payware or not should work just fine in FSX. I myself have made loads of terrain scenery for FS2002 and it worked unmodified in FS2004, so when FSX came out, I tested it and it worked the same with no performance hit.

some fs9 landclass data will work with FSX. ultimate terrain for fs9 works in FSX when patched.
