September 9, 200718 yr In Vista, I have a strange thing. I have many jpegs in many folders. If I do a Search for some jpegs, they appear instantly, but beside many of them, there comes up an identically-named generic greenishthumbnail, which makes an unneccesary clutter. If I try to delete this generic duplicate thumbnail, it says it can't do it. It says this jpeg thumbnail folder, (folder!!!??)no longer exists & can't be deleted! Certainly doesn't look like a folder to me. There's no sign of anything strange when you open a folder. It's only in Search. These generic greenish thumbnails have 0kbs as their size in properties. They all look exactly the same! So they don't exist & therefore they can't be deleted!!Any ideas how this might be cured??Peter Sydney Australia
