More varied ATC voices?

Recommended Posts

After I was only able to use FS2004 for a while (travelling, old laptop), I am astonished how much worse the ATC in MSFS2020 sounds. Part of it is the seemingly reduced number of different ATC voices, regardless if I use Azure or Offline mode.

Is there a way (addon) to add more voice variation?

I agree Mario, and I don't believe there is yet a way to add more variation and continue to use MSFS ATC.  There are other ATC programs you can try.

Yep ATC does ned a few more voices and regional accents would be fantastic.  Surprised nobody has made an addon so far unless it is not possible to do.

Thank you - do you have a suggestion which one works fine (when also using traffic addons)?

I don't Mario, but others will chime in soon rest assured.  One of the big pluses for me with MSFS ATC is that it interacts correctly with AI traffic which is a feature that wasn't there in FS2004/FSX.  So for now I put up with the voices.  To me, besides lack of variety, there is one Azure male voice in particular that just sounds so bad, so unlike any ATC would speak. If I could get rid of it would help!
