Featured Replies

Hello,
i try to use my Logitech Radio Panels with the AN225 from Inibuilds, sadly it shows the current Radio/Nav Frequency but i cannot change it.
What do i have to do to get it working?
Thanks

I had a quick look in MSFS developer mode - NAV is controlled by LVars apparently:

1 (>L:AN225_RMP_VOR1_OUTER_KNOB_TURNED_CLOCKWISE, Number)
1 (>L:AN225_RMP_VOR1_OUTER_KNOB_TURNED_ANTICLOCKWISE, Number)

1 (>L:AN225_RMP_VOR1_INNER_KNOB_TURNED_CLOCKWISE, Number)
1 (>L:AN225_RMP_VOR1_INNER_KNOB_TURNED_ANTICLOCKWISE, Number)

Same for _VOR2_

But - I just realized that you cannot do this quickly in current AAO, because it doesn't have the option to send INC/DEC events in NAV1/NAV2 setting. It expects you to change the standby freq, and then swap that over.
So you would have to switch the RadioPanel over to MIDI mode in AAO and reconfigure all the encoder events manually. That is the only way to implement it. This can be done on a per-aircraft basis, so it isn't that much of a headache as it sounds.
Sorry about that, I will put it on the list for a future version of AAO.
