Warning sound when entering cockpit.

Just got the plane and have a warning sound right when I switch on batteries. I read manuals while being in the cockpit, and that sound is not helpful for concentrating. Any quick suggestions on how to turn it off?

Do you have a switch mapped to your landing gear that is in the up position, by any chance?

Thanks for your reply, Mario. I just figured out the problem: the throttle levers weren't on idle.
