Aircraft.cfg for Naai b707-320C

Featured Replies

Could someone please send me the proper aircraft.cfg for Naai b707-320C.

On ground: the aircraft is above the ground for height 1m

I've downloaded the AI Naai B707-320c and some of it's textures myself to test if I have the same problems as you seem to have. If I do see the same problems I will to the best of  my abilities, correct them in the aircraft.cfg file and will post my findings in this thread.

Be aware though that it concernes a non flyable AI aircraft, which can cause unpredictable issues if attempts are undertaken to actually pilot it.

Regards

Hans

Thank you hans i appreciate

I tried the AI Naai B707-320c in my own FS9 and all I could find were some errors in the contact point section of the aircraft.cfg file and which I have now corrected. A few other more minor entries were edited as well but I also removed a lot of "ballast" e.g. unnecessary spaces, the [forcefeedback] section, while also doing some simplifications and re-naming here and there..

The model version I chose was NT and that worked correctly from the start, so there was no need to try any of the others, which I deleted as "ballast".

My standard cruising speed for all commercial jet powered AI aircraft is 477 knots and my experience with this speed has always been good.

Why 477 knots, you may ask ? I don't really have a good reason for this, other than that I standardised this speed on the basis of my very first test AI B-727, which worked correctly all those years ago. Since then I have simply adhered to the saying: "If it aint broke, then don't fix it."

I made a separate flight plan for the Naai AI B-707-320C and it arrived at it's destination airport more or less "on time", thereby making me conclude that it did not stall, crash or was highjacked along it's route.

Regards and if you still need my edited aircraft.cfg file then please PM me.

P.S. In the flightSim.com forum I will only refer to this AVSIM reply.

Unfortunately Didn't work well

kingahmed86,

Because of the many corrections it was necessary to make in the original files, it will be necessary to send you my whole AI B707-320C aircraft folder with it's 4 different airline textures: Turkish, Brazillian government, Arab Cargo and Zimbabwe. This will obviously also include the closely related aircraft.cfg file.

I'm now waiting for your Private Message (PM)..
