Strange visual problem in Prepar3D

Recommended Posts

I have similar issue with textures, I think it is because of my motherboard, but your seems peculiar. Can you tell me - what airport is this and what are your graphic settings in Nvidia panel?

Thank you for posting this, I have had this problem too but didn't know how to describe it in words and didn't know how to make a video to show the problem.

With me this does not happen all the time, it seems to happen randomly and only when there is lots of clouds.

I just got a new computer back in January and I have never had this happen with the old computer. I have only seen this with the new computer.

@PavlinS Any plane or airport. I will set NCP to default, but I think I've already done it and it didn't solve the issue. Could it be because of the latest Nvidia drivers?

PS: even with the default profile in NCP I still have the problem.

No wonder. Maybe because your GPU little old, there is 4000 series already on the market, I think my problem comes from the fact that my GPU is PCI slot version 4 and it is nested in motherboard, that has only PCI slots version 3. But I don't know why it gives such trouble to you.

@PavlinS If it were a problem with the GPU (or other hardware such as the motherboard), I would have had this issue from the beginning and not just for the past day or two...

But I think I have found the solution. I am testing it right now.

PS: No, it wasn't the monitor's 'Over Drive'. I still have the problem...

Solved with a complete driver reinstallation (DDU included).
