April 24, 20233 yr Good day, Since porting over to my new System (see below) i got issue with (i believe) vsync in MSFS. The issue is the following: MSFS starts to stutter from time to time while running at a stable 60FPS framerate. So i guess its not a stutter caused by low performance. Alt+Tab out and back in the game and its smooth again until it starts over again. Sometimes every few minutes, sometimes once an hour sor so. I just have to tab out and back in. Setup is as followed: Nvidia CP Max frame rate set to 60FPS, Monitor refresh rate is at 60Hz, Vsync is set to on globally. In MSFS i have Vsync set to off, Frame Genereation is on and Antialiasing is TAA. Using a Samsung TV as monitor. Issue is the same with Gsync on and off. MSFS set to fullscreen. The above is pretty much the setting i am using for every game except Counter Strike and MSFS is the only game that has this issue. Is anyone else experiencing this or having a clue what might cause this? Best regards, Tom Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! April 24, 20233 yr Could you open Dev mode, enable fps counter and check where exactly are those spikes that cause the stutters. Is it GPU or GPU? I have almost the same system with same Nvidia control panel settings. Try to disable V-sync if you use G-sync and place your max frame rate cap to 57 Intel Core i9-13900K | ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24GB | ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 HERO | DDR5 64GB 6000-30 Trident Z5 RGB | Corsair ICUE H170i Elite Capellix RGB | Corsair 7000D Airflow ASUS ROG Thor Platinum II 1200 Watt | Samsung SSD 990 Pro NVMe M.2 2TB & 1TB | Alienware AW3423DW | Asus ROG Swift PG279Q 27" Gaming Monitor | VKB-Sim Gladiator Mk.II | Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant Airbus Edition

Really strange. I have tried all available vsync/gsync combinations. All with the same results. Intel i9-13900K | Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Master | RTX4090 | 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000 | Be quiet! I guess you already decreased terrain level of detail , incase you had it over 300. Do you have any other external frame cap limiter like Riva tuner for example? Frame generation works only right now with Nvidia control panel frame limiter. Check also task manager if any other source is creating issues on MSFS, Also check if g-sync is actually working ( Your Monitor/TV refresh rate needs to be synchronized with your hardware frame rate). Are you sure its stuttering and not tearing? Are you sure its stuttering and not tearing? I guess its tearing or something similar (if that makes sense) since the FPS is at a stable 60. No fluctuations. Currently i am only using NCPs frame rate limiter. No addons except Navigraph and some liveries installed. TLOD is at 200 (never changed it tbh).
