  1. Is there a new experimental build of ChasePlane that works with the SU5 beta?
  2. At last, I’m going to download it ASAP, which means more default aircraft will have custom sounds
  3. just a question : Is it normal that motion blur is not working anymore after Chase Plane installation ? Even that is enabled on MSFS 2024 thanks
  4. No issues with ESET, works great with MSFS and its lighter than windows defender + more advanced
  5. Forming a definitive judgment without firsthand experience sounds .....weird. In short, MSFS deserves to be evaluated by flying in it, not just watching it. I’d encourage you to give it a try — even a short flight in a study-level aircraft like the PMDG 777,737 or Fenix A320 might change your perspective. You might be surprised by how deep and realistic the experience really is. And if you still don’t enjoy it — which is understandable, though a bit surprising since you haven’t actually used it — there are always options out there, including the ones you mentioned. Either way, happy flying!
  6. Is there any reason to buy the ultimate edition? GE90 i guess its the standard most popular and widely used on the 777-300ER ( Deeper roar and powerful spool-up)
  7. Honestly, I'm getting really tired of seeing the same X-Plane fans coming into MSFS forums just to spread hate and start fights. It feels like they’re trying to turn this into some kind of competition — like they’re getting paid by Laminar or something to bring back some fans ( or cash $ ) We’re here to enjoy flight simming, not argue over which platform is better. Let’s keep things positive and respectful Long story short: we prefer and like MSFS!
  8. New Beta released ! Sepia night lighting - fixed
  9. So what about the users that have only MSFS 2024 , there is no reason to have 2 separate community folders.
  10. I just read this on MSFS forum : Hi folks, I can confirm that @CriminalPilot understands this new feature correctly. This is for players who have both MSFS (2020) and MSFS 2024 installed on the same PC and don’t want to duplicate the same mods in two different Community folders, one for 2020 and one for 2024. To summarize, what it does is this: Both sims allow you to specify the location of your Community folder. Point both to the folder called “Community”. If you have a mod/add-on that is compatible with both sims, put it in this Community folder. Both sims will search this folder for mods upon startup. If you have a mod/add-on that is compatible with only MSFS 2024 but not MSFS (2020), put it in the new Community2024 folder. Only MSFS 2024 will search this folder (in addition to the regular Community folder) for mods. This ensures that MSFS 2024 will load all your add-ons, but MSFS (2020) will NOT load 2024 mods that aren’t compatible with the older sim. Thanks, MSFS Team So for users that have only MSFS 2024, which is the procedure? we move everything on the new folder? If yes , then we need to change the path to addon linker, Orbx, contrail, inibuilds etc Update: just checked LGAV from FlyTampa which is installed on my community folder and worked with out any issue. Still dont understand why to use the new one ( community2024)
  11. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree. While it's true that X-Plane has made progress compared to its older billboard-style clouds, I still find the overall platform visually outdated. In particular, the cockpit visuals feel quite behind the times (not to mention the ground scenery, which speaks for itself). There are also noticeable issues with antialiasing that detract from the experience, in my opinion ( always!).
  12. I believe Laminar Research is trying to emulate the modern weather visualization style of MSFS, likely with one main goal: to win back the simmers they’ve lost over the years (myself included). Unfortunately, I can't see myself returning. MSFS has evolved into a truly modern flight simulator with immense potential and a forward-looking approach. What’s disappointing, though, is the attitude I often see from many X-Plane users. There’s a noticeable hostility toward MSFS, and a lot of the comments on social media resemble the kind of tribalism you'd expect from teenage football game fans. It’s not constructive and doesn’t help the community grow.
  13. What about third-party add-ons like Fenix, PMDG, iFly Max, FSLabs aircraft, Beyond ATC, Navigraph tools, Mobiflight Connector, Contrail, and Orbx apps? In the case of a clean MSFS 2024 installation, will they work without any issues? I assume that if I install the simulator using the same file name and in the same custom folder location, everything should function as before. Also, I’ve been trying to back up the WASM folder along with all custom camera views from the LocalCache and LocalState directories, but as usual, I’m running into permission restriction issues. Thanks!
  14. This is exactly what i was waiting for , thanks FSL!
  15. I'm extremely satisfied with the Fenix A320, and now that I've been using only MSFS 2024 since its initial release, the big dilemma arises: FSLabs or Fenix?
  16. Next stop: a riot in the streets—or maybe even the skies—waving a massive banner that reads: MSFS 2020 FOR THE WIN!
  17. SU3 is by far the best update of Asobo so far as they solved some of the major issues ( at least that i had ) - new in game fps limiter : I just use 40 or 50 fps as a limiter and have stable 80 or 100fps with frame generation. The smoothest experience so far that i ever had on flight simulation + i could click on my 2nd monitor on other applications with out making my GPU boiling at 99% usage. Usage and temps are 50-70% and 50-60C max. -UI menu and control settings : Everything is ultra faster and smooth i didnt have a single stutter so far during ground procedure , taxi, take off , cruise and landing with Fenix , A350 and B787-9 at Ultra settings + BATC + Active Sky
  18. MSFS only and no reason for any other sim right now. X-Plane is trying , good efforts but its trying to imitate MSFS. And as far the boring "flight model study level physics" from pilots of the keyboard ( which i am also ) its not anymore valid.
  19. Don't forget that evangelists prefer crowded & popular places
  20. MSFS 2024 Is it possible to just have the fleet from 1.07? It works great with BATC but they placed Traffic + Fleet on the same folder. I even have the FS traffic panel in-game which 100% i will never use it. I guess the only option is to disable traffic controler from their app.
  21. wrong 100%. I am on the beta and right now flying and i could see my 13900k working in all cores + 4090 make its magic. the Hardware works perfect on 2024 !!
  22. I agree 100% with you. But please just go on all X-Plane Facebook pages and check the comments. You will be surprised of how many times you will read the word " MSFS" enriched with anger, hate and vindictive behavior. Of course there is also the same on MSFS pages, but on X-Plane side ...its boiling anger !
  23. Thanks for the info/details Goran, some of them i knew already. Of course he is a special and talented person, but indeed sometimes on interviews he is too ironic and sarcastic especially when he was to defend his baby ( X-Plane )
  24. What about the sarcastic-ironic- ego - attitude of the main head of X-Plane? Is this a good example for flight sim users? for example:
