April 28, 20233 yr Hello, MSFS, it appears that CTDs here and there are just going to be something that we have to deal with. Whether it be an unstable graphics driver or just the wrong time of the week. As I see it my options are crash 3/4 of the way through a 4 hour flight OR find a way to recover somewhat where I left off. Now one of the problems with these complex aircraft like the PMDG 737 is the complex nature of the FMS, you cannot just slew your way to 38k ft and plug in your flight plan again. This issue has led me down the Google verse and I have come across two solutions, one apparently definitely works now but comes with a lot of stuff I probably don't need in Volanta https://volanta.app/features/ which I found definitely works according to this PMDG thread https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/pmdg-737-for-msfs/212089-are-panel-state-autosaves-supported-in-the-737-for-msfs And the other is FSUIPC which apparently is supposed to work but every forum thread I can find is from 2022 and they state it doesn't work with the PMDG as the FSUIPC dev doesn't have the right API calls. My questions are; Are these the only two options? Is it still the case that FSUIPC save feature doesn't work with the PMDG FMC? Any users of Volanta that can sell me on other features other than continue where you left off? Going through their feature list doesn't really excite me tbh, I just want to continue my flight if I crash to desktop. Tyson Rose
April 29, 20233 yr As far as I am aware there are only 2 options for autosave - FSUIPC and Volanta. I had done research and it works the same, I am using FSUIPC. Prefer "one time" purchase instead of subscription base model (Volanta). I also use Volanta for tracking my flights (free version is fine for that). To conclude, FSUIPC autosave function works well with PMDG
