Lost Windows! HELP!

Recommended Posts

This morning, when I minimize FlightSim Commander, the display moves to a position that is not visable on any of my four monitors. What I am talking about, is I bring FSC up on my primary monitor, load my flight plan, get everything arranged as planned and then minimize the window with the intention of moving it to a secondary monitor. It disappears completely. I can right click the program in the toolbar at the bottom of my monitor and maximize it again where it shows normally, but of course then I cannot move it to another monitor.I have seen this happen with other programs like Word, Excel etc. Previously, I have always been able to change the resolution on my monitor and see at least a portion of the window, then center it or move it where it is completely visable. I can then go back to my original resolution and see the window sufficient to put it where I wnat it to be.By right clicking the program on the bottom monitor tool bar, I also have options to "size", "Move", or "Restore". I have never been able to tell what I can do with these functions either. They have not proven to be a solution.Anyone know the secret to recovery of such a situation, and how to manage it?Thanks:RTH

I've been there with FSC as well. There is an fsc.ini file in FSC directory.Open fsc.ini in notepad - look for "WINX=" and delete the value after,do the same with "WINY=".Save FSC.INI - and restart FSC - now you should have the window back in a more usable position. ;)
