For what it's worth, I was a beta tester as well.My system is similar your yours Frank. Windows 7 ultimate. 64 bit. 12 Gbyte ram and a 580GTX graphics card with 3head2Go - 3x24' monitors.I haven’t had the black screen occur on my system.Edit for spelling.

HiNot sure about a kneeboard, but FSwidget has a moving map for iPhone http://fswidgets.com/shop/igmap.php.It works quite well.Edit for spellling.

At the moment we rely on the SAPI engine, though the announcements are recorded - there is no stopping you altering those if you want.Anyway, FSPassengersX already does this in the most excellent way. You are more than welcome to go to the IYP forum and post any idea's you have - we always listen, and more often than not try to incorporate what people want, as long as it's within the scope of the app. :(

Hi,Well, IYP and FSpassengers work nicely together. There is a conflict as both applications will make announcements at the like, but the upcoming version of IYP (within the next few days) will have an option where you can chose to call the announcements at your will. IYP currently does not handle FSP keys - but I'm going to have a look at that part.I'm not aware of any other problem that does the flight following, but I'm sure others might be able to help out in that regard. :)

I have not idea if MCE can, but this one can http://www.itsyourplane.com and there is a demo mode to try out as well.

The FSUIPC mouse macro is really cool - the problem with the Duke is that it utilizes "click and drag" which it not possible with the mouse macro function.If they (Real Air) would provide a click spot functionality - then I would be a happy man.But what a lovely aircraft to hand fly!!!

I've never had this problem either, You could try and defrag your hard disk. Making a quick format might still let your hard disk hold info on your files in the allocation tables - and scatter new installs around to avoid overwrites.

Sure there are other alternatives, but they all cost money.I'm not sure that the downloader is the right approach - I have to restart the application every time a new dat file has downloaded. I'm on my 3'rd dat file now - but I'm downloading at a steady 1.3 MB/Sec - so hopefully I can get the rest fast.I'm looking forward to get those water textures.

Hi I have a Q6800 - 4 Gbyte - Gigabyte P48 Motherboard.Nvidia 9800 GX2 using only two monitors.Vista x64 SP1 - with all updates.FSX w/AccelerationI'm running the Jeppesen chars - and I have not experienced any problems.

I think you have to give yourself user administrator rights on the folder you want to use in Flightsim. Even if your user has admin rights, this is not given by default if your installation is in the c:program files(x86).. folder.Locate your Flight Simulator X directory and right click on "Flight Simulator X" and click on Properties.Up comes a popup - click on Security.Now highlight your user and click on edit. A new popup with permissions comes up.Again highlight your user and click on "Full control" then OK. A new Popup advises you that you are changing the permission settings. Just click YES.Hopefully this will help.
