I bought this app. It really is well worth it. It's like your own handheld GPS in the sim. (sort of). Very functional

Thanks for posting the link and first impression. Bet I am into this, too. Recently heard rumours about an iPad app and was sort of disappointed that such thing would not be available for the iPhone. Ha, here we go now. Again, thanks for sharing.PhilEdit: just bough it. One of these gadgets I like! Now I just need the time to test it, guess wife and kids may prevent me from a quick flight the next few days...

I bought it, works pretty good, it's nice not having the large EFBFSX visual hogging your desktop. The one feature that it lacks is showing the flight-plan. I had an email discussion with one of the folks at Widgets, they're working on getting the flight-plan to show-up in the App, it's a laborious process, but they hope to have it available in an update.Tony

Tony, did it work out of the box? I see some issue on my machine(s), the app connects perfectly but the position on the map is not displayed correctly, the focus jumps across the globe every second, not showing my actual position properly. Already posted this in the FSwidgets forum. I use FSX + Accel on Win7 64bit and an iPhone 3GS with iOS4...Phil

FS Kneeboard Mobile will be released very soon. It's in Apple's hands now. :)

And it's just as powerful and fluid as the iPad version. I love using it to truly navigate as a /A aircraft; certainly a rewarding kind of flying.

Yeah but isn't the itouch/iphone's screens sorta small for chart viewing? I used my itouch for skyvector and it was pointless - such a small screen... I can see that the iPad might benefit from it but I think the touch is tooo small.
