The CS737 and 707 really are awesome, despite all the negative comments that bat about from time to time. The aircraft feel authentic, fly very convincingly and the sounds are great. I highly recommend them. Erich

FSUIPC is always a good investment, not necessarily linked to programming hardware. Saitek Yoke and throttles are a great investment. I would suggest purchasing the additional throttle quadrant if you can afford it.

Why is the communication about what's going on with Flight - and hey intentions around development so fragmented and disjointed? Some random site now posts about Alaska? Don't get me wrong, I think it's great but the marketing approach just seems really odd this time.

I'm confused. I haven't tried Flight yet but some have said there are no more soundcones etc and slated it. From what I'm hearing here, the sounds are indeed good?

It really depends what your expectations from FSX are given that you want all of those things. I would say, stay with FS9 until you can upgrade.Eric

Carenado. Ensure you also install the updated flight dynamics by Bernt Stolle. I seem to remember it as an optional separate download

Yeah, you see when I purchase a product, I expect the manufacturer to have taken care of that glaringly obvious item. I have not had to haul out my toolbox for the Saitek unit - after 2 years of relatively frequent use.
