Hi allWhen importing an .avi file from Fraps into WLMM, I cannot see the video in the preview screen. It's just black. Any ideas?CheersE

I never used WLMM, but imagine it's a codec issue, or it just doesn't like Fraps's compression. Try installing XVID. It's the best video codec I've ever used and you'll want that anyway. If it still doesn't play (shows all black), try opening a different AVI not from Fraps. Theres something about their compression that other video editors have issues with and maybe that's why. Also and lastly, does Windows Medial Player play them? Try all of these in order as I wrote them. Good luck.
