March 1, 201214 yr EVENT: A2A Scott and Cody discuss Accu-FeelTOPIC: Everything Accu-FeelTIME: Mar 2nd, 5pm PST, 8pm EST, 0100 GMT (one night only)LOCATION: ts3.digitalthemepark.com (TeamSpeak 3)Greetings Aviators,We are pleased to again welcome Scott from A2A and Cody, a consultant for A2A, to end this week. Scott and Cody share with us the background and knowledge on the recently released A2A Accu-Feel. Accu-Feel allows A2A to inject a "touch" of Accu-Sim into almost any aircraft in FSX, both default and third party (including GA and commercial airliners). The amazing thing is this is all accomplished without having to edit a single aircraft file. It's clean and modular, as it plugs into the core of FSX. The end result is an enhancement that is more like an FSX upgrade. This is an event you will not want to miss.Let's welcome A2A Scott and Cody back to discuss their latest creation.Note: We suggest getting connected before the event in order to make sure your headset fully works, and familiar with DTP. We appreciate your understanding that we refuse to "seat" folks after the event has started.###For those not yet in-the-know, DigitalThemePark is a multi-gaming community of virtual citizens. March 1, 201214 yr I look forward to dropping in. Right now, it has to be my favourite addon dollar for dollar in the world! :yahoo:Kind regards,
March 1, 201214 yr This is an opportunity to Meet 'n' Greet two of the top folks of one of the most successful flight-sim development groups on the planet. If you fly or use any of the great A2A products you will be kicking yourself if you miss it. Scott and Cody are both real nice, friendly and down-to-earth flight-sim enthusiasts that love to talk airplanes, and they will answer and expand on anything you want to talk about. :smile:Edit: Oh yeah - there's usually a bunch of flying afterwards - usually at Bowerman using one of the DTP's dedicated multiplayer servers (no, no VATSIM rules.... actually no rules at all.. :( ) Edited March 2, 201214 yr by Paul J i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
March 2, 201214 yr I dropped in a bit late, only to see that it must have been all over. I was really disappointed. Only now do I notice that it is for March 2, the 2nd. Tommorow, not tonight! Now, if I can only only remember to tune in when I am supposed to.Kind regards,
March 2, 201214 yr Author Greetings SpiritFlyer,I heard ya come in and almost popped up there. A bunch of us were trying out ARMA 2. It will be nice to hear about Accu-feel. It really does a great job for immersion in all my aircraft. I even applied it to the A2A P40 and got extra wind "whistling" when the landing gear was moving. That was a great effect.. -Todd
March 2, 201214 yr It will be nice to hear about Accu-feel. It really does a great job for immersion in all my aircraft. I even applied it to the A2A P40 and got extra wind "whistling" when the landing gear was moving. That was a great effect..I know how you feel! Accufeel has breathed new life into FSX for me, not that it really needed it. Old aircraft have really come alive and give me goose bumps. Try flying a Birddog with most settings cranked, then do a power dive (power being a relative term with the Bird Dog)! The screaming wind and the protesting, groaning airframe will involuntarily make you look around for your parachute. See you tonight.Kind regards,
March 2, 201214 yr I was doing one of my routine landings in the default 737 last night, using the autopilot and APPR.I had my speed set to 138, which I normally do then release the autothrottle and autopilot about 100 yds before the end of the runway.Well this time I apparently got a little too slow before touching down, all of a sudden the airframe starts shaking just shortly before the " don't sink" warning, As soon as it started shaking I hit the throttle, it quit shaking , and I went on to a successful smooth touchdown.Love these visual cues AcceFeel gives! March 2, 201214 yr I'm really hoping they add takeoff roll effects and turbulence effects (i.e. the violent jarring you get) because everything else seems to be there. The tech obviously exists as they can add that effect when driving on grass or over seams in the runway. Edited March 2, 201214 yr by bonchie
March 2, 201214 yr Author hmm "...add takeoff roll effects and turbulence effects". I like that. I think this add-on, already wonderful, has furthered potential with ideas like this. -Todd
March 3, 201214 yr Commercial Member I'm there, naturally. ;)This will be fun.EDIT: Oh dear, my avatar picture is missing. :sad:EDIT 2: AND FIXED! - Cody Bergland (Owner, Jaggyroad Films) Our YouTube Channel (featuring over 100 OFFICIAL product videos): https://www.youtube.com/user/valkyrie321 <- CLICK HERE
