May 23, 20233 yr Hi, Does anyone have any good suggestion what to use for the B38M (737 MAX8 ) to calculate v-speeds ? Thanks.
May 23, 20233 yr If it's just the Vspeed, then ifly's own CDU is good enough. They even came with OPT on EFB, but as they said they don't have the actual data from Boeing.

I'm looking for some more oprions , short runway takeoff with flaps 25 and pack off for example...
May 24, 20233 yr Nothing I'm aware, Except the PET and OPT came from Boeing.... Many old consumer available calculator relay on FPPM data, but since 747-8 Boeing no longer provide FPPM, all is in their PET software, and that dataset is much harder for a normal developer to come by and redeveloped on....

This ^ Until the community is willing to pay a few hundred dollars for a study level aircraft, there is no way a addon developer will be able to justify obtaining Boeing PET data for B787/MAX/B747-8 and all subsequent aircraft which no longer have the paper FPPM As a result it does not come as a surprise that PMDG’s B748 flight dynamics are a copy and paste of the B744 flight dynamics, and therefore largely incorrect. Comparare Boeing OPT performance figures to the PMDG B777/B737NG and it is practically spot on. In comparison PMDG B748 performance is off by order of magnitude compared to the Boeing OPT. Wishing for a B787/MAX/B777C that is anywhere as close to the real thing as the B777/NGXu we’re is a pipe dream! Never going to happen. Same applies to the A350, just refer to what Amir at Fenix wrote on the subject
