P2AT unresponsive if in inactive window

Featured Replies

Good morning! Running on P3D 4.5 with Saitek Joke. When pressing the key for me to speak P2ATC will be responsive only if I have its window open. Sound seems not to work if P2ATC works in the backgroud.

Is there a solution for this? Many thanks in advance! Juan Miguel.

Thanks Dave, worked perfectly!

I had the same problem, off and on Dave and I was getting very frustrated. Sometimes, my push button on my yoke in my 737 cockpit would work when P2A was not in focus, and other times not.

I found out what it was. I update promptly every time a new beta comes out. I have the default 'create shortcut' ticked in the installer. This naturally would rewrite my shortcut on my desktop.

Problem was it was removing the ticked 'Run as Administrator' option.

The solution is, to set the 'Run as Administrator' option in the shortcut and not let the betas create a new shortcut. (Unless the name of the program changes.)

By the way, if people don't know how to set that option: Right click on the P2ATC shortcut, Select 'Properties', select '[Advanced]', Tick the [X] 'Run as Administrator' box, [Apply], and reverse out.

Thanks again for a great program,

Aussie
