Did a couple of flights back in MSFS. First one around CYYC, using the Simaddons version

The surrounding countryside looks quite attractive at first, but when you get near to it, it really is peppered with melty uglyfacts.

And I don't thinks it's a tod-related server issue as I've tried this several times over the last week, and it's always been the same.

And at that point I gave up and ended the flight. Now I know there will be those who will just say "you're not supposed to fly that close to PG", but there are plenty of places in the sim where you can do so and it looks fine. And of course - it's a helicopter, what am I supposed to do - head for 20,000 feet?

So, I seem to have bought two different versions of the same airport (neither of which are really top tier, but the Simaddons one is not bad) for an area I'm probably going to ignore unless MS/Asobo sort out the PG in the area.

Some you win . . .

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Nice shots Andy! 🙂

Nice shots Andy.  I like this sim a lot better than P3D and XP but I do understand it's a work in progress.
