June 2, 20233 yr I am starting to use pilotedge for ATC communications. The controllers use real world navigation/chart data. I am going to install FSaerodata for navdata but I am thinking I will need a solution to update runways/taxiways in P3D to be closer to the real life data ATC would be looking at... Does anyone know of a good resource/list to find airport layout updates? Of course I can search for scenery for individual airports, but I don't know how I'd tell if it was just a cosmetic eye candy update or an actual airport layout update... Thought I might as well ask. June 2, 20233 yr Moderator FsAerodata isn’t available any longer. It ceased providing data 18 months ago. https://www.fsaerodata.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=559 Aivlasoft Electronic Flight Bag reads P3D’s BGLs to produce accurate runway, taxiway and parking positions. It requires Navigraph FMS data for SID and STAR data but I’m not sure that service is available to new subscribers, only existing ones. The alternative is their Charts data which is very expensive. I’m not certain what your best options are. Others may be able to advise. Ray (Cheshire, England).
