Hello everyone,
I have a problem with VOXATC since the update to P3D V5.4.
The program works as such, since the texts are displayed correctly in the VOXATC window. However, the voice output sometimes fails completely, or the announcements are only stuttered in flight.
Has anyone already run VOXATC with V5.4?

I assume you have a successful initialisation of VATC & that the issues occur "in flight" ..... & no fatal errors. Are you hearing other sounds such as your aircraft's.

Do you have / see any hints in the VATC log ?

I had a "problem" with Microsoft voices a few weeks ago where I would get a fatal error at the beginning of initialisation which I traced to a W10 update "uninstalling" them (but not the registry entry). Hence VATC could not find them, but a re-install of the voices fixed the issue. Doesn't sound like your problem though.

I have found the error. Since I use CereProc Voices and have bought new ones, the error has crept in.

If you buy CereProc Voices today, you have to install them via the CereVoiceEngine. One can install also not complatible voices.

After I checked and corrected this, VOXATC worked properly again. So it has nothing to do with P3D V5.4.

do you mean "non-native"  ..... though pronouncing 'english'

i tempted to buy more if that's the case

but good to hear you found the "bug"

I do a Screenshot of my Cere Proc Voice Tool. All voices are "Standard".

it will help .... many "newbies" to VoxAtc may find it difficult to source TTS other than from W10

harpo voices are also great

my recommend .... at least 20/20 TTS's controllers/AI PF's
